2021 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS

1. Cover letter including the following information and/or resume.
   • Full name, address, contact information.
   • GPA
   • High School activities
   • Community activities
   • Employment history inside or outside fishing industry
   • Honors/awards/recognition
   • Future goals
   • Date/signature or Printed name
   • Describe how you plan to pay for your higher education
   • Describe how you qualify. (Who in your immediate family (or yourself) works in the fishing industry and where)
2. We have 2 Scholarships available. To qualify, you or your direct family member must work in the fishing industry.
   • WEfish Scholarship – essay: 1000 words stating how being from a fishing family or working in the fishing industry has impacted your life.
   • WEfish – Pete Graham – essay: 500 words about honoring a loved one in the fishing industry, this person may be living or passed.

6. Materials to be turned into Ocosta High School counselor by May 22, 2021.
7. Scholarship funds will be min $500
